Love to see Mark continuing developing on "A Son's" qualities. This whole album feels more hopeful and more modest, although less conceptual.
"A Son" for me was a heartbreaking experience. It feels like it had a bigger distance to hope than "The Patience Fader" has. "A Son's" chords were as if on the verge of breaking. It felt like it (the narrator maybe) was overwhelmed by the path it had to cover.
Here chords are closer, they sound warmer, more intimate Terrence Falconer
Thank you W&C for doing this! Your music keeps carrying me through for more than half of a life time. The not so little extra artwork is beautifully aligned with you your sound art. Thank you again! atze2
Its such an amazing feat and reassurance when no one else even amongst a multitude of great new artists takes you closer to finding the infinite in the mundaneness of here and now better than artists youve come to know and love over time so much as W&C ! fluere tapes
